Yes, it really is possible to predict the future. All you have to do is look at the mistakes of history. When you see those same mistakes being made again you can pretty much predict that the outcome will, most likely, be about the same as last time.
For example, leaders that become too big and too greedy always tend to overreach their abilities and fall. Sometimes nations fall with them. Let us hope that there is no one today that is so arrogant and full of himself that he is ready to waltz us down the road to doom.
When studying the past any student of Watergate can tell you, "to follow the money". Similarly, when predicting the future, you need to see where "the money" is going.
During a campaign, media coverage, any media coverage, is expensive and as good as gold. Even bad coverage helps you by keeping your opponents out of the limelight.
Barring some major indiscretion on the part of the candidate and based on who is getting the most media coverage (money) Fatt Grudge predicts that Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States. Don't worry if that news sours your day. Rest assured that I am trying my best to prove myself wrong.
There are those that say that they can make America "great" again. But greatness, like beauty, looms in the eye of the beholder. Perhaps we should look to "The Greatest Generation" on our quest to define "greatness".
Let us turn back the pages of history to see what was done right by them. We see that "The Greatest Generation" did not embrace Fascism, they fought it and they fought it vehemently. If you want to know what "greatness" is take it from the example set by "The Greatest Generation". They lived and died for it.
In all fairness, as far as I know, Hitler may never have actually killed anyone, at least not with his own hands. It was all the dumbasses that swallowed his bullshit that did the killing.
We can all not sleep well tonight knowing that the world is still over-populated with dumbasses ready to prove, yet again, that bullshit is every bit as mighty as the sword.
